Domain registration and hosting

Hi all, it has been suggested in a previous thread that it is better/smarter to register your domain name at one site and use a different site for hosting. OK, easy to do, but how do you tie the two together? Do you use 'forwarding' or is there an alternative approach. _________ Thanks, Phil

Hi Phil. Thanks for posting and welcome to the board! Although I am not really an expert on setting this part up, from what I can tell, you just need to let the people you buy the web hosting from what your domain name is, and they’ll get everything hooked up for you. I think the best thing to do would be just to double check with your host to see what they say. If anyone else can shed some more light on this, that would be great! ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
