Hi all, I am happy to announce that Yemen Observer newspaper website (http://www.yobserver.com) was fully upgraded to v2.12 MySQL with more than 11,500+ articles spanning several years, and has a new design incorporated into it. The entire website is published using AM2; no static content updated manually. Many of the tutorials were applied: - Single Page categories - Digging articles - Filenames: hashes instead of underscores - Adding a gallery - Embedding Google Videos and several others. Ajax was also used for the photo gallery on the front page, and Google Video was also incorporated. Credit goes to Mr Haitham for the out standing job. what do you think? Marssin

You are right Chet! I like the fact that AM2.12 uses mysql, but at first I thought it was just an upgrade from v1.41. I must admit that I was a bit intimidated when I realized the interface changed and how the template placeholders were used. But after I had explained what I knew about v2.12 to Haitham, he just kept coming up with design ideas based just on the templates. He had a much better insight on how v1.41 templates worked and he explained to me how simple it is once a user knows the tricks of creating database placeholders in AM2 and integrating them within the templates. We also had a lot of help from your documentation and tutorials sections. We are both designers, not programmers, and therefore I believe that AM2 does have endless possibilities if it was to be handled by a programmer who knows how to program PHP and relate it to mysql. Again, thank you for this great product. It is a must have by any person who wishes to go beyond conventional blogging systems such as Wordpress, Joomla, or other CMSs out there, as well as have a professional looking website that actually pays its owner back!
