can meta description show up in search results rather an text string	Can't Post

Hi - I read this post: http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=21416;search_string=meta%20description;t=search_engine#21416 which said it is not possible to customize the search results so the meta descriptions show instead of the text string. Is this still true or have any of the latest releases made this possible?

The post you're referring to still holds true. Search Engine doesn't have a placeholder that will allow you to output the meta description with the Search Results. There haven't been many upgrades to Search Engine since that post as our development resources are currently focused on other projects.
