Unifying search engine

Hi - I'm already using Article Manager which I think has an integral search engine (although I'm not currently using it). I also have an online free search engine (Atomz) which I use for the other parts of my site (before I started using AM). And I have the search engine provided for the forum software I use (Invision). I'm a bit baffled by the variety of search engine software I'm using, and wondered how realistic it was to get one of them to cover all of the site - particularly the forum stuff where pages are generated on the fly I think from MySQL databases. Does anyone have experience of this?

Hi Steve! Thanks for your post. :) Because Article Manager creates static pages, pretty much any search engine should be able to index it without a problem. So, if you want a search engine that covers more than just Article Manager, you can use almost any third party script -- including our Search Engine product -- to search everything. However, I'm not too familiar with your forum software, so you'd probably want to get in touch with the folks at Invision to see what they have to say about external search engines. :) I hope this helps!
