Hello I wonder if anyone can help?, Im currently using both Article Manager and the Search Engine software on my web site, and im looking to do the following on the advanced search form. So i want people to have the following search options in the form of list menus like the advanced form Category - list here sub category - list here Towns - List here Im wondering if i can add extra search fields and extra search templates so i can run two on one site, so for example once someone has search for what they want it shows an advert rather than search results Many thanks Dave

Hi Dave, Thanks for your post! You should be able to set up a Category drop-down menu as you've described - just add the various Article Manager category directories in the "Category Editor" part of the Search Engine admin pages. There isn't a way to automatically show a sub-menu of subcategories based off of the current category selection on this page. While I believe that you can do this through javascript, it's not something supported by default with the software. How were you looking to do the Town search - is this another subcategory section? I'm not quite sure what you were looking to do with the extra search fields and templates - could you explain this a bit more? I look forward to hearing from you. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
