Hi Jeff! This sounds to me like a permissions problem. You may want to doublecheck that your /data/ directory is has full permissions for the user that Perl runs as. Without looking at your server directly, it's difficult to give any further directions than that. If you'd like us to take a closer look, you can fill out a support request on our website here: https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support.cgi I hope this helps. :) Donna

Hello Donna, Thanks for your reply. It does appear to be searching, but only folders in the directory i specified. I want it to search all sub directories underneath the initial directory i selected for that category, is it able to do that? Kind Regards Jeff Whitfield

Hi Jeffbrfc, Thanks for the response . You can make a category search through its subdirectories as well. Simply go to the Category editor and click on modify. There should be a check box there that says: Search sub-directories? Simply check the checkbox left of the message above and save the settings. That should do it! I hope this helps. If you have other questions please let me know. Cheers, Eric Lau - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Hi Eric, Thank you, I already have 'search sub-directories' ticked. Could you send me the full list of permissions i need to set. Thanks Jeff Whitfield

Hi Jeff, Thanks for the reply . As long as your sub-folders have read and execute permission (in Unix/Linux it's chmod 755), the folders should be searchable. If you can't set permissions or the issue persists after you've set permissions, then I would recommend you follow Donna's recommendation and fill out a support form with FTP information so we can take a closer look. I hope this helps. Cheers, Eric Lau - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
