Search Engine Missing files in results

Hi, I have integrated the search engine into a site that uses Listings Manager. When the search facility is used with the root URL and Directory set to the site's root directory it only searches the non-rm pages. If I then set the root URL and Directory to the directory into which RM published it's file no results are returned for any query. The pages are there and work fine in a browser. The only thing that I have done is used a .php extension because the files use php includes for some of sections of the page. If anyone has any ideas as to why this might be happening I would be grateful for any thoughts or pointers... Cheers Keith

Hi Keith. Thanks for posting and welcome to the board! Without being able to take a closer look at your server, I am not exactly sure what may be causing none of your PHP pages to show up. One thing I can suggest is adding php to the Default HTML Files list under the Search Restrictions heading of Setup Options. If this doesn’t solve the problem for you, could I get you to fill out a support request with some FTP details here: https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support.cgi ? From there, I’ll be able to log onto your web server and hopefully get a better idea of what is causing the problem. I look forward to hearing from you . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Hi Ross, Thanks for the reply. It's not all php files that are being missed, just the files that are created by Realty Manager, which is what I has flumoxed me I had added the php extension to the default extensions, I also tried specifying only php files for the default category, which made no difference. I'll post the support request for you to have a look. Thanks again, Keith
