Before run the script admin.cgi (setup)

-rwxrwxrwx 1 ifocom client 123 Mar 9 20:42 session.dat.cgi

After run the scrip admin.cgi (setup)

-rw-r--r-- 1 ifocom client 123 Mar 9 21:00 session.dat.cgi

My server info is

Server Software
Rapidsite/Apa/1.3.29 (Unix) FrontPage/5.0.2.2510 mod_ssl/2.8.16 OpenSSL/0.9.7c

mod_perl

I fixed the permission and I finished the set up, but I cant run the script without this problem

Re: [ricardo] Script changes permissions? [In reply to] Can't Post

HI ricardo,

Thanks for the forum post Smile. It sounds to me like your server is set so that files that are modified automatically have their permission set to a value you don't want. However, you can override this setting by editing the following line in your config.ini in the /exec/ directory: #umask = 000 Remove the # sign and save the file. That way, whenever Search Engine saves a file, it will override the servers umask settings and force it to change the permissions to 777. Let me know if that works for you. If you have other questions please let me know.
Cheers,
