Hi! I've just installed the version 1.11 but I have this problem after setup the Image folder path. Before run the script admin.cgi (setup) -rwxrwxrwx 1 ifocom client 123 Mar 9 20:42 session.dat.cgi After run the scrip admin.cgi (setup) -rw-r--r-- 1 ifocom client 123 Mar 9 21:00 session.dat.cgi My server info is Server Software Rapidsite/Apa/1.3.29 (Unix) FrontPage/5.0.2.2510 mod_ssl/2.8.16 OpenSSL/0.9.7c Perl version 5.006 (linux) mod_perl not available I fixed the permission and I finished the set up, but I cant run the script without this problem Warning: File/Directory not writable! This web application needs to be able to create and update its data files. Please ask your server administrator to make the following files and directories writable: /u/web/ifocom/ricercare/data//session.dat.cgi

HI ricardo, Thanks for the forum post . It sounds to me like your server is set so that files that are modified automatically have their permission set to a value you don't want. However, you can override this setting by editing the following line in your config.ini in the /exec/ directory: #umask = 000 Remove the # sign and save the file. That way, whenever Search Engine saves a file, it will override the servers umask settings and force it to change the permissions to 777. Let me know if that works for you. If you have other questions please let me know. Cheers, Eric Lau - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
