Error search with thai char

Hi,
I am facing a problem with the search by keyword. Currently i am doing Thailand localize and the search by keyword not function.
Like i key in a thai chac to be search by passing the keyword to the url
search.cgi?fields=art_field3&keyword=เกี่ยวกับ&cat=48 but no return result
so wondering how the AM retrieving the article to do a search.
me do check on the data/article.dat for the return value...it return the value like "遽氯溼噸儢譜鈮".
I guess that why the search by keyword not function.
Any solution to solve this problem

Hi,
Thanks for the post!
I will be happy to lend you a hand with this, I am thinking at the moment that it may be a character encoding issue. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind posting a link to a few of your webpages that are using Search Engine? With this info I will be able to take a closer look at this and see what possible solutions there are. :)
