Display search results on same page that contains search bar

Example: I have added the SE search bar to the top of my home page. When I perform a search, the results are by default displayed in a new window. I would prefer to display the results below the search bar on the home page. I don't want a new window to open each time I perform a search. Is there a way for me to display search results on the same page that contains the SE search bar?

Pliinc, This is probably a matter of removing a target= attribute from the form tag (such as target="_blank" or "_new"). Make sure you don't have a target attribute in your form tag, and it should be fine. If you don't have any target attributes in the form, or removing doesn't solve the problem, post the URL of your search form and I'll take a look at your HTML and see if I can figure out the problem. :) Theo Wiersma Project Manager
