Creating PDF Link on Search_Results.htm Page

Hi,
I am pretty new to the software and i am faced with a ticklish situation. My client currently has over a 1000 html pages that the Search Engine is set to search through. What they have decided recently is that they want to give the user the ability to download the html page in PDF Format or at least have a link to the PDF File. Presently i am leaning toward the latter option. I was wondering if it is possible on the Search Results page to display a link to the PDF document next to the URL and where it says 'Click Here'. I am not too sure if this helps but the PDF Files have been given the same name as the html page. Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
