Clearing the cache

Hi...I've moved some pages within my site and put in 301 redirects for the outside search engines. However, Search Engine is still displaying those pages as results. They redirect fine, but it would be better to clean them out of the cache. Not sure how to clean the cache. Thanks, Ethan PS There is still an unanswered question at the end of my thread called "Advanced Search Customization". It's been a bit of a mystery here as to why the code is doing this. Thanks so much for your help. Hi Ethan. Thanks for posting! If you log onto your server and go to the data folder there is actually going to be a sub folder called results_cache. Try moving all the files out of that folder into a backup (you could also delete them if you like, but I don’t like deleting things ). That should clear the cache right up. Regarding the PS of your message, I am not sure what that was in regards to so if you could give me a few more details, I can look into that for you as well. I look forward to hearing from you . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Hi Ross: That worked. The cache is cleared and all is well. Here is my PS from the prior post, where I still have a little issue: Actually I have one little glitch. When an Advanced Search is done (from the link on the bottom of the custom search results page -after doing a basic search from the home page) the first page of results is perfect....it uses the custom results template. But when "NEXT" is clicked to bring up the second and subsequent pages of results, it resolves to my generic template. Then if "PREV" is clicked, that generic template remains active. Hmmmm...cannot find the code that controls that. Can you help.
