Category search set up

I apolgize if this has been asked before but I'm unable to find the answer. I have set up a category to search my blog only, as opposed to the default category which is searching the entire site minus files and folders in my ignore list. My problem is that I don't know how to eliminate all other files and folders from the search in the Blog category because as soon as I click 'ignore this dir' it adds it to the ignore list which also governs the default category. I see that I can specify file names to use within the category editor but my blog's filenames are called all sorts of things due to the fact that they are based on the beginning of the particular article ie. /dhocblog/2006/08/welcome-to-new-dhoc-blog.html /dhocblog/2006/11/discover-why-celiac-disease-is.html /dhocblog/2006_11_01_archive.html All the blog stuff falls within a directory called dhocblog although there are sub-directories based on date. How do I only include files within the dhocblog folder for the blog category search without having to add all other folders to the ignore list?

Just realized the answer to my question. I completely missed the 'Directory to Search' and 'Directory URL' boxes and thought I had to do something clever with filename prefixes.
