$url$ returning wrong path ?!

I've just spent ages trying to figure this out and I can't so I'm seeking expert advice! I'm using Search Engine to search Article Manager listings. On the search_results.html page the link is coded with $url$. Everything works fine, the search query returns the correct results, except that the URL points to the article being at 'root' level and not in its respective folder. http://www.ladydane.tfxweb.com/knowledgebase.shtml The headlines on this page have the correct path and are obviously generated from an AM template - if you do a search on the word test, it functions correctly and returns all the appropriate articles, but the URL is wrong! Aaagh! Why is this?!?! I'm guessing it's nothing to do with the virtual path as I also tried combinations of ../ to see if that was what caused the problem, but it didn't help. I've checked Search Engine and AM settings and can't see anything that could cause this. Help please Kerry

Hi kezza, Thanks for the post! I've taken a look at your site and it looks like the problem might have to do with the "Knowledgebase" category being used on the site. Within Search Engine's Category Editor, you'll just want to click "Modify" for the Knowledgebase category and change "Directory URL" from this: http://www.ladydane.tfxweb.com/ To this: http://www.ladydane.tfxweb.com/artman/publish/knowledgebase/ This way, any article in the knowledgebase category that is found will have the appropriate full URL. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions or comments, just let me know! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

LOL ... thanks Mike, that's sorted it. We have an expression in England "can't see the wood for the trees" - don't know if you have it over there .... I just KNEW it would be something simple that I didn't spot for looking too hard!! Kerry
