customer adding links via WYSIWYG

Am I missing something obvious here? The WYSIWYG interface doesn't seem to offer the option to add a link. I know they can add it in html IF they know html but the whole point of giving a customer PP is because they don't know html. Did I somehow edit out that option so long ago I don't realize it or is it simply not available? I know I could add pml code for a link. But this is a wysiwyg text box and sometimes they want to be able to add a link in their text. How do I set that up? Thanks Sheila

Hi Sheila, Thanks for the post! There is link button in the WYSIWYG editor try following these steps to find the button: 1. Select one of your Page Publisher pages to edit, inside the WYSIWYG box highlight some text. 2. On the WYSIWYG menu notice that you have two menu bars, in the bottom one link at the fourth icon from the left (it looks like a chain link). 3. Select this icon, a new window will pop-up for you to enter all your link information. Give this a try Sheila and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask. :) Cheers, Chet Woodside - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Hi SheilaHoff, Thanks for the follow-up! That's an odd one, would you mind sending in your ftp details so that I can take a closer look at your Page Publisher set-up and see what's happening here? You can send us a support request using the link below: https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support.cgi I look forward to hearing back from you soon. :) Cheers, Chet Woodside - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Apparently I needed to upgrade from 1.24 to 1.25. All is well now. It was an easy upgrade. Thanks. Do you have a notification system for registered users or do I just need to hang out here to know when there are updates?

Hi Sheila Thanks for the update! I am glad to hear that upgrade got your going. In the latest versions, our software doesn't actually notify you itself as that was causing trouble with private labeled copies . What you can do though is sign up for our newsletter as that's our main way of keeping you up to date on everything including new upgrades becoming available. You can sign up for that on the main page of our site www.interactivetools.com How does that sound? Let me know if there is anything else you needed a hand with . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
