Uploading files

I've been playing with the online demo for a few days and like what I see. I have one question though. In the demo it looks as though all uploaded images and files are being placed in one shared folder and the setup options only allow for one folder. I will have close to 100 users and would like to keep their uploads seperate to hold down on confusion when they set up picture and document download links. Is it possible to assign each user their own individual upload directory? This just seems to make much more sense to me than having everyone upload to the same place. It would also make file cleanup much easier.

Hi Papa Bear. Thanks for posting! While each user doesn’t actually get their own uploads folder, each file upload or image upload section you have setup on your pages can have its own uploads folder. If you were to have things setup so that only one of your users gets to upload each page and you have each upload section on that page going to a custom folder, it will basically be the same as each user having their own uploads folder. This is a little tricky to demo for you as it isn’t something the demo was actually setup for, but it’s really easy to get going once you have a full copy of Page Publisher. We offer free support so this is definitely something I would be able to lend a hand with. Let me know what think . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
