Problem integrating Page Publisher on php-driven ecommerce website

Hi, I am using Page Publisher on non-product pages of a php site supplied by ecommercetemplates.com. I've successfully used Page Publisher before but not with dynamic technologies like PHP. All seems to perform well though, except I get this warning generated by the ecommerce script above the page when displays with the updated content. Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/fhlinux198/a/arthurcaygillcycles.com/user/htdocs/vacancies.php:3) in /home/fhlinux198/a/arthurcaygillcycles.com/user/htdocs/vacancies.php on line 5 The specific page on the site is www.arthurcaygillcycles.com/vacancies.php I can imagine why such a conflict might occur but how do I resolve it? I'd be grateful for any help.

Hi, Thanks for the post! Hmm, I am not sure what may be causing this at the moment. Have you tried turning off the Page Publisher "add meta generator tag"? You can turn this off by going to 'Set-up Options' and looking under the "Edit Options" section. :) Give this a try and let me know if that works out for you! Chet, Thanks for the reply. I've just tried what you suggested but no change. I should maybe also point out that it only becomes a problem after text is entered on the page via the editor. Scott

Hi there. Thanks for the update! I can't claim to be an expert with PHP, but the error message to me is saying that you have some PHP script trying to set page headers after plain text has already been added to the page. Now, I had a look at the source and I do see the meta generator tag up at the top still so I was wondering if making that change Chet suggested didn't get saved quite right. That meta tag is one of the more common reasons for an error message like the one you are getting so that's still what I am thinking the problem will be. Could you give turning it off another shot for me? 1. Log into Page Publisher and go to Setup Options 2. Scroll down to Edit Options and set "Add meta generator" to no. 3. Hit save. Give this a shot and let me know how you make out this time . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Thanks Ross, I've run through what you suggested and I can confirm that on logging into Page Publisher and going direct to Setup Options/Edit Options that the radio button associated with the 'Add Meta Generator' tag is definitely set to 'No'. I unset then reset it just to be sure and have confirmed that the existing state is still 'No'. Scott

Hi Scott. Thanks for double checking that! My next idea is that because the setting is turned to no, Page Publisher won't be adding that meta tag in there anymore so the problem is that it is still on the page. What you'll want do is open up that page in an HTML editor and just remove the meta tag. Page Publisher won't be adding it back in anymore so this should get you going. Of course, keep me up to date . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
