People Happy With The Support Here?

Don't want to insult anyone here, especially it being my first post, but I've noticed several "I'm not that familiar with this kind of thing" and "maybe other users can help you" from the support folk here, especially in regards to things like the htmlarea editor and how to make code changes to suit individual needs. Let me just say up front that I am a complete noob when it comes to coding of any kind, so I very well might have no idea of what I'm saying, but I get the impression that most of the support people here are not the people who actually write this script...? So I guess my question to all of you is simply: do you usually end up getting satisfatory answers/solutions here or via email support for most of your problems? TIA!

Hi, Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum! Hopefully some users of Page Publisher come across this post and are able to let you know how they feel about the support for our software. In the meantime I figured I would just leave a quick note to answer some of the other questions in your post. Page Publisher is a really flexible piece of software (works on most servers, with numerous file extensions and can work for all different types of websites). Because of this we're always coming across server issues, and new pieces of code that we haven't seen before. The support we offer is for Page Publisher and because we're not server administrators it's tough for us to always know all the details about server related problems or how a piece of code external to Page Publisher works. Similar to this, htmlArea (the WYSIWYG editor in Page Publisher) is an open source script. Open source software is something we're really not able to offer a lot of support for as it's outside of the scope of Page Publisher's actual functionality. Also, the threads you're seeing on the forum are only part of the support we offer, we're here 7 days a week taking phone calls, emails and talking in the LiveChat. If you ever have a question there are a few different ways you can reach us. As I mentioned, hopefully some Page Publisher users can answer your question about the support they've received. In the meantime you may want to take a look at the reviews of Page Publisher to see what people have said about using the software. You can find the reviews near the bottom of this page: http://www.interactivetools.com/products/pagepublisher/ If you have any other questions or comments feel free to let me know! I keep coming back and buying another PP or LM or AM any time I think it will help a client maintain a site and always have questions, tweaking, customizing we want to do because of the individuality of the sites we develop. All of the Interactive Tools products I have used (for many years now) can be used straight "out of the box," so it's almost a bonus that we have always had super experiences with the support received both in the forums and through individual support requests. Actually, our company now models our level of support after this one, so our clients owe thanks twice to I.T. I just lived through a saga buying, installing, and running into multiple problems with another bit of software bought online for a client's site...something Interactive Tools doesn't carry. The product was expensive for the performance, the documentation was skimpy and support was difficult to get. We just don't have time for that around here. The level of professionalism and customer care demonstrated by Interactive Tools from the very first early days on has been consistently impressive. We've been using these products for many years and can speak with authority on that. I only saw your post tonight because I just thought of another great use for Page Publisher and wanted to research what others had done with it since my last installation. The forum is a huge resource and there's always something to be said for the level of openess displayed by a company who'll run a support forum like this. The staff is always courteous, no matter what...as you saw by the response you received. Interactive Tools support is totally awesome, year after year. Hmmm.. I guess you know now how I really feel. Happy Interactive Tools product user since 1999

Support here is great!! Better than any company i've used!! I've bought NM, PP, & AM all worked straight from the box but just needed advice on customisation. Used forum, email & telephone. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll be more than happy!!!
