Hi, Thanks for the post! If you'd like to retrieve your Page Publisher administrator password you can actually log on to the server through FTP and take a look at one of your data files. You'll want to download the /pp/data/setup.dat.cgi file off your server and open it up in any text editor program. You should see some values in this file separated by Page Publisher's delimiter, the upside down exclamation point (ˇ). The beginning of this line should look something like this:
1ˇˇ1.24ˇPage Publisherˇ00ˇ33ˇ99ˇ00ˇ33ˇ66ˇimages/ˇˇˇˇUsernameˇPasswordˇ You should be able to see your username and password at the 15th and 16th position in this file. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions feel free to let me know! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

I have done as you said and downloaded the setup.dat.cgi file and opened it in Notepad. This is what I see: #!C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe # __END__ 1ˇˇ1.24ˇPage Publisherˇ00ˇ33ˇ99ˇ00ˇ33ˇ66ˇimages/ˇˇˇˇˇˇ1ˇ60ˇ1ˇˇ0ˇ0ˇ0ˇ1ˇ1ˇ1ˇˇˇˇ0ˇ0ˇˇˇˇ0ˇ10ˇˇ1ˇ100ˇ1ˇ200ˇ200ˇgif,jpg,jpegˇˇˇ I cannot login with the user/pass I have on file and do not see anything in the code above for user/pass. Help?

Hi there Thanks for posting and welcome to the board! There's nothing there and that's very peculiar. I am not quite sure what happened there but I can get a default username and password in there if you like. Just send me some FTP details (which I think I might have already asked for in a separate email) and I'll take a closer look. How does that sound? I look forward to hearing from you . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
