I have noticed that PP is not using XHTML and I was wondering if you have plans to offer a solution for that in the future?

Hi Mortekai, I'm not sure if I understand If your page are coded in XHTML there shouldn't be any problem with adding PML tags. They are just read as commented tags with viewed through the browser. Do you mean XHTML in the interface templates for the Admin Program? Any additional details would be great. Regards, Cliff Stefanuk - Customer Service Manager support@interactivetools.com

What I meant was that the information you put into the WYSIWYG is not printed out as XHTML, but as HTML. For example br tags and image tags are not closed and for some reason it insists on setting all tags in large caps :) Its probably more of a question on how the WYSIWYG works though than PP now that I think about it :)

Hi Mortekai, Thanks for the post! The code that is created by the WYSIWYG editor is actually something that is more specific to the WYSIWYG editor itself rather than Page Publisher. The WYSIWYG editor that is used by Page Publisher is something we had developed called htmlArea. It's a free, open-source, unsupported script that we've orphaned onto it's own site. You can learn more about htmlArea here: http://www.htmlarea.com I hope this helps and if you have any other questions feel free to let me know!
