Page Publisher WYSIWYG in Firefox Can't Post

Hello there,

I'm working on implementing Page Publisher and want to ensure cross-browser compatibility. I note that the HTML source editor (within TinyMCE) comes up OK in IE6 but comes up blank and inserts a spurious table in Firefox 1.5.

Any ideas why this might be and how to correct it?

Thanks!

Hi Denis,

Thanks for your email. :)

If you try the online demo in Firefox, does the WYSIWYG editor work there?

If so, check that your "Images" path (in the setup options) doesn't include the full URL -- it should just be the path to your images directory, most likely:

/pp/images/

If that doesn't work, try re-uploading the images directory. And if it still doesn't work... let us know and we can pop in and take a look for you. :) You can fill out a support request form here:

Thanks, Denis! I hope this helps. Let me know if you're still stuck. :)

Re: [Donna] Page Publisher WYSIWYG in Firefox [In reply to] Can't Post

Hello there,

Just to close this off the problem appears to have been related to a prior issue that was documented in the forums. Specifically using the Page Publisher feature that adds a "Last Modified" comment to the top of the web page seems to make Internet Explorer go a bit crazy and ignore parts of the style sheet. When I deleted these comments everything looks more or less consistent between the two browsers.

I have now turned the feature off. Perhaps if these comments could be added to the bottom of the file instead of the top I could turn it on again.

Cheers,
