I am a very satisfied user of Listings Manager, but now have a challenge to rebuild a client's site in which I must provide the following:
1. Client staff access via browser to enable them to update content on specific pages without design knowledge.
2. Ditto to post/delete PodCasts (is this the same as RSS? I am unfamiliar with this technology)
I see AM is moving to MySQL which would work for this client. Would AM serve my purposes or is Page Publisher the route to go?

Thanks for your post. :)
The main difference between Article Manager and Page Publisher is how you want to build the site, and whether or not your users need to be able to add new pages.
Page Publisher is intended ONLY to modify existing pages -- so, you would have created each individual page by hand in an external HTML editor, then uploaded it to the site as a regular website... except that certain sections of code that you want your users to be able to modify would have special PML tags surrounding it.
With Article Manager, it basically creates the site (or a section of the site) for you, based on the templates. You only use one set of templates and Article Manager uses those to create new pages. It does not modify any external pages and saves all content in a database, using the templates and the database to create all of the pages.
So, in other words, if you have a select number of pre-created pages that you want to be able to edit, Page Publisher is the way to go. If you want to have something that will build the entire site based on your templates and allow you to add new articles based on those templates, you'll want to look at Article Manager.
