PDF's uploading with wrong permissions set - can't read

I am trying to upload PDF files in Page Publisher but when i upload a PDF that I need to link to, the permissions are set incorrectly. I checked with my hosting company and they said that it was an issue with the script and not the server. I noticed in the forums that you have a fix for this?? Let me know if you need any further information. Thanks

Hi websting, Thanks for posting, I think that we spoke over the phone a while ago and got this going. I wanted to respond here so that the community can benefit from the answer. All we needed to do is modify the /config.ini file so that this: # umask = 000 says this instead: umask = 000 This will override your servers settings and allow Page Publisher to add readable files. I hope that helps anyone who runs into this in the future! Regards, Cliff Stefanuk - Customer Service Manager support@interactivetools.com
