Number of rows

Can't Post

Well, I had PP installed yesterday and promptly 'broke' it! I'm waiting for the very patient guys at support to get back to me and in the meantime, I'm looking at the online documentation. Regarding: <!-- publish type="textbox" name="Page Content" rows=20 --> Presumably the 'rows' refers to the number of rows of text? Is there a limit to the number of rows? Also, if I specify 50 rows and only 30 are used, are the remaining 20 going to show as blank space? Thanks. (I think I'll change my logon name to Village Idiot)

Hi Amaranta, Good question. The number of rows in the following: <!-- publish type="textbox" name="Page Content" rows=20 --> refers to the number of rows in the text box. The more rows, the larger the text box. Sometimes a larger text box makes entering content easier. Having a larger text box will not have any effect on the published content. Only the text that is entered into the text box will be published, not the additional empty text box rows. Hope that helps. :) Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com

It certainly does Damon - that's great. Luke is being very patient with me and has fixed my 'broken' PP. Of course, I'd done something dumb! But now I've been playing with it a bit and I have to say - it's wonderful! If anyone is reading this and wondering whether or not to buy this product - I'd say 'go for it!' It's excellent and tech support are wonderful!
