Image Upload in WYSIWYG Editor Can't Post

Hi Guys,

I believe I have made all of the necessary changes based on your tutorial upto step 5.

For step 6, I have some like this already in the page.

<!-- publish type="wysiwyg" name=" parts and accessories tour " format="html" -->

<!-- /publish -->

The above works fine to change any of the text elements. Now, if I want the user to be able to add multiple photos on the page within the WYSIWYG Editor, step 6 I added the following line below;

<!-- publish type="image_select" allowupload="yes" uploaddir="" allowremove="no" editalt="yes" rows="2" -->

<!-- /publish -->

I don't see the new advanced image box in the step 7 example.

Instead, I see something like below

Field 2 Image None Alt Text

What am I doing wrong and also, how can I allow for multiple photos to be uploaded and assigned on a page?

Thx

Re: [mrondeau] Image Upload in WYSIWYG Editor [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi.

Thanks for trying out the tutorial Smile.

I don’t actually think the screen shot you were looking to post made it up. I am thinking though, that it might be easier to just go through a support request though. That way, I’ll be able to get onto your server if I need to.

Here’s a link:

I look forward to hearing from you Smile.

Re: [mrondeau] Image Upload in WYSIWYG Editor [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Guys,

I have the new image box appearing. I believe my final problems are directory structure related.

I have beat this dog to death, so I am going to leave it in your hands. I am close, but not quite there. Any help would be appreciated.

Thx

Hi mroundeau,

Thanks for the post! Smile

I've taken a look at your site and it looks like everything should be up and running on your site now. Within Page Publisher's WYSIWYG editor I noticed that when you click the "Image" icon you have the ability to browse your local computer and choose an image to upload. From there, you can select the image from the dropdown menu to have it display in the preview section. Once you hit "Apply" the image should appear in the WYSIWYG editor with the rest of your text.

I hope this helps and if you have any other questions about the WYSIWYG editor and the ability to upload images, just let me know! Smile
