heck, I can't even get Frontpage to be right... Is Page Publisher designed to allow the creation of an entire website or is it just for allowing clients, say real estate agents, upload listing info and such? Thanks, Colin

Hi Colin. Thanks for posting and welcome to the board! Page Publisher is designed to let your clients to easily update the content on existing pages from their site. Basically, Page Publisher is going to let you edit content on any text based static file on your server. Because they are going to be focusing their time on the content you don’t need to worry about them mucking up the template you created for the page. It’s just the text, images and links, etc that they edit. Does that sound like what you are looking for? We actually have a separate program called Realty Manager that would let you easily create real estate listings and manage them. It would be great to hear from you again so feel free to post up anymore questions you have . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Thanks, Ross... Still not sure about one thing... would I be able to develop the entire site in Page Publisher or would I need FrontPage or some other program to create the site and use Publisher to set up the individual listings? I've looked at a couple of the RE sites that link from your site.... most have a similar look, that's OK, so I'm guessing they use Publisher for everything. But, what the heck do I know??? a few minutes later, he asks --- just went to the Realty Manager section -- is it possible to add a link to a virtual tour on the litsing paga??? or listing page???? Colin

Hi Colin, Thanks for the post! Page Publisher isn't really designed to create new pages and it's mainly set up to allow users to make changes to content on static pages that have already been created. If you're looking at any of our Page Publisher featured clients, the design is actually something they've come up with themselves and they are just using Page Publisher to allow non-technical users to make changes to the content on the pages. This means that while you don't actually need FrontPage you'll want to have some kind of HTML/Text editor you can use to set up the pages on your site before you install Page Publisher. To answer your second question, Listings Manager has 75 customizable fields within the Setup Options so if you'd like to add a link to a Virtual Tour you could certainly do this. The software also uses some HTML template files so you would just want to set up these templates to display the appropriate fields on your site. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions or comments, just let me know! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
