Did I delete client's changes?

That's the way it looks to me. He made some text edits on several pages, asked me to make other changes on those same pages. When I did and uploaded my revisions, his changes vanished. I bet I could find answers to this if I hunted around awhile but I'm kind of panicky and wonder if someone can point me in the right direction. Did I set up the coding incorrectly? Are his changes retrievable anywhere? I set this site up 2 years ago and haven't looked at it since so I'm a bit rusty on Page Publisher functionality. Thanks.

Hi Vicky. We actually discussed this on the phone but I wanted to post for anyone else reading the question. Basically, what happened here is that an older version of the page was used to make some template changes and then got uploaded. Because Page Publisher writes all its updates right to the page on your server, uploading this older copy over wrote everything that was changed. What I recommend doing when making template changes to pages that Page Publisher updates is download the latest version from your web server first. Make changes to that one, the upload it to the server again. That will keep you from changing any data. Let me know if you have any questions . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
