Can I create a Community web with this program?

Hi, I am new here and I am very interested on purchasing some of your products, one of them is Page Publisher. I want to create a community web in which users can create their own sites but having a template so they will add information just in the authorized fields. Does Page Publisher allows to do that? Is there a way I can generate new sites automatically? Thanks for your reply in advanced :) Greetings, Ernesto Cortazar

Hi Ernesto, Welcome to the interactivetools.com forum. :) >Can I create a Community web with this program? Page Publisher isn't that well suited for creating a web community. Instead the software is great for adding/modifying content on existing websites using text fields and text areas that you can setup. Page Publisher doesn't create new pages but can be used to update webpages that are already available on your website. Article Manager is a better match for creating a website automatically. Some of the feature the software includes: - multiple users access levels - publish templates that can be customized to control the look and feel of the site - customizable content fields for adding information - multiple image uploads The best way to really get a feel for how the software works is to give it a try. Here is the link to our online demo for Article Manager. To try demos for our other software products, click here. If you have any questions about any of our products, please let me know. Damon, Thank you so much for your reply :) I have a question.... Lets say that the web community I am planning to create, members have to be approved by some staff... in that case, is it possible to create a unique site for that user on my community site wit page publisher? I mean, using the same template as for other members but with his own control panel? I love you software, I really want them all, specially the Reality Manager.... right now I am designg a Real State site and would be more than useful, the porblem is my pocket but soon I'll get it :) Thanks again for your help, I have checked the article manager and it would be very usefull for my proyect but then again my pocket just made it for the Page Publisher. Oh... another question... If I am a web designer and I have the Page Publisher, do I install it on my web design site and them jusyt work the other sites from there or do I have to install it on each site I create? If I have to install it on each sitre or wanted to install it on each site, do I have to purchase it again for each site? Thanks :) Ernesto

Hi, Page Publisher doesn't include the user management options that come with Article Manager. For users accounts with Page Publisher you can have one Client account and one Admin account. You could setup one installation of Page Publisher to allow one user to update their webppage on your site. To have multiple users access their pages separately you would need to have multiple installations of Page Publisher and multiple licenses. Page Publisher can only update the site it is installed on. Each separate installation would need a separate license. With Article Manager you can have multiple users accounts with one installation. You could create a category for each user. They could login and add articles to only their category. Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com
