%20 Can't Post

Hi,
I'm trying to get pp working properly. Everything seems fine it's just that the program keeps inserting %20 in the url causing page cannot be displayed errors. So, for instance, when I try to go to setup options, instead of http://mydomain.com/cgi/pp/pp.cgi?setup_edit=1 I'm getting this: http://mydomain.com/cgi/pp/pp.cgi%20?setup_edit=1 Can someone tell me why this is happening? Thanks

Re: [Cynthia] %20 [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Cynthia.

Thanks for posting!

%20 is the notation for a space if it appears in a URL. If you are getting them in your Page Publisher links, you probably have some spaces that need to be removed. If you could double check that for me, that would be great!

If everything checks out though, let me know and we can try something else Smile.

Hi Cynthia.

Thanks for the followup!

I had another look at this for you today and I am actually having some trouble re-creating the problem you are having.

Would you mind sending me some FTP details to your server through our support form:

That way, I can have a look right at your files and try a few things out. I look forward to hearing from you Smile.

Re: [ivesummers] %20 [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi there.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the board!

I actually ended up passing this to our second level support team and they were able to track the problem down to a setting in the IIS on Cynthia’s webserver. There was actually a space at the end of the line on one the settings. The only thing is that I am not actually sure exactly what setting it was.

What I’ll do is double check with Theo on Monday. For now, I just wanted to let you know I am going to look into it.

Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime Smile.

Hi.

I do remember getting your email and sending out the reply so I am not quite sure why it had not made it.

The only thing is that I don’t quite recall your email address so would you mind sending me another message? Perhaps you could send it to both my personal email adress and the main support@interactivetools.com one.

The only reason I was thinking it would be better to handle this through email is because it is a fairly technical thing that is happening here and that always works better in email.

How does that sound? I look forward to hearing from you. You could also give me call right after you send the email just to make sure I got it Smile.
