Naming Job files
|
Can't Post

Hello again! In AM you can change the config so that a user can name the article whatever they want, is there a way of doing that in JM? If not, is there a way of changing the config so that it names the job file the Job ID? Thanks Mike

Hi Mike, Thanks for your email. :) There's no functionality for the user to choose the filename, or for the filename to be set to the job ID... however, you can change the default filename globally in the Setup Options. Look for "Publish Settings" and find the "Detail base filename" section. I hope this helps. :) Donna

We'll definitely add this to the feature request list, Mike. Although we're focusing on Article Manager mySQL right now, when the time comes for the next revision of News Manager we'll be sure to look closely at the most popular requests. Theo Wiersma Project Manager
