NM: Index sorting

Hi, News Manager: I am wondering if it is possible to sort the index page alphabetically, rather than by last modified? Also, is it possible to split the index page into further pages when the number of items grow? Another thing that would be useful is to remove the WYSIWYG from the summary box only, as it sometimes adds <p> tags, which ruins the display of the index page. I am using News Manager as a kind of library of more "in depth" articles - I know this isnt strictly what it is meant for but I am hoping there are work arounds... Thanks

Hi, Thanks for your post. Sorting the index page alphabetically and splitting the index page into multiple pages aren't available features of News Manager but both are fully available in the Article Manager software if that is an option for the site. The WYSIWYG editor shouldn't be entering extra <p> tags in the summary field. I did a few tests locally and was unable to re-create this. Check that users are using Shift+Enter to add single line breaks. If this problem still occurs, please post back with your Article Manager version number, the browser type and version number, and the operating system that the software is installed on so I will be able test further to try to provide some options.
