Can it be done ? Is it related to this ? $ufile_image$ - the url to the image, if you want to create your own <img tags

Hi, Currently you can have one image per article with News Manager but that will change when the WYSIWYG editor (html Area) is available to be used. Then adding links to other images already online will be easy. The $ufile_image$ tag is used for publishing the image URL. For example adding $ufile_image$ to the template would publish the image file name. Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com

Damon, if I was to buy NM now, am I right in thinking that the addition of html Area would be a free upgrade? What's the timescale on that, do you know? I need to know for a client. Thanks!

Hi Amaranta, Yes you are right, the addition of htmlArea to News Manager will be a free upgrade when it is ready to be added. Currently htmlArea is in the development stage. We are working on adding table functionality as well as other functionality and removing any bugs before adding it to News Manager. I'm not sure what the time frame so release of that upgrade will be but when it is available we will post it in the forum. Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com
