Can not remove image from article

I added a table and an image to an article and later deleted in the modify section of in News Manager, yet the image still appears in the article. Yes, I refreshed my browser and emptied my cache to view article. Additionally, I looked at HTML in the article and there is no sign of the image in article. When I go to server and view file, I can see the .jpg embedded in html, along with the html for the template. This seems to be a bug in News Manager HTML editor. Do you have any suggestions on fixing this within News Manager? ( I could probably go in and edit the HTML with a text editor via FTP, but this will be difficult to have users mess with it this way. Any ideas?

Hi Denis. Thanks for posting! I tried re-creating this on some internal demos and none of the images were sticking around after I had deleted them. What I think might be happening in your situation is that the files News Manager is creating you don’t have update permission. I recommend just deleting all the files in your publish directory and re-publishing them from within Setup Options. This should get your files being created from scratch. Could you give this a shot and let me know if it gets you going? Just let me know if you would like some more details . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
