I know this has nothing to do with Interactive Tools but every one here has been a great help in Interactive Tools issues I thaught you could help me here. I have a HP ze4300 laptop that I have planed on using for presentations for my clients. I bought it used and the battery that was in it would only work for about 5 minutes so I bought a new battery and it worked just fine at first but now is only good for about 10 minutes (I bought the battery in January new on Ebay) The only thing I can think of is that I have used the laptop at work 99% of the time and allways had it pluged into the AC. The batteries never get to the point of sounding an alarm and going into hibernation computer just dies at about 60% power showing on the meter and about 1hour showing left on time ? My question here is first how did this happen ? did I leave it on AC power to much? Second how can I refrech the batteries to work as they should ?

Hi wasatch. While I am definitely not a expert on hardware situations, it seems to me as though the problem might be more to do with the laptop itself as opposed to the batteries. If possible, I would take the machine into a local PC shop and have their hardware guys have a look. Of course, it’s also sometime hard to tell if items purchased on Ebay are authentically brand new or now. It could actually be that you have a couple bad batteries. When batteries are nearing the end of their lifetime, they will be able to hold a charge for shorter and shorter periods of time. I hope this helps. Hopefully the local PC shop will be able to shed some more light on this for you . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
