User groups and restrictions

I would also like to add my request in the next version to user groups and restrictions.
1. I would like to be able to allow access to certain document groups for each user.
2. I would like to have a jr admin that has access to the document groups tab, but not the setup tab. This way a responsible/trained user could create new document groups and assign users access to those groups.

Hi Robert.
Thanks for the posting!
I’ll get these added to our feature request list for you. The developers will use this list to determine what goes into the next version of DocBuilder. At this time though, there hasn’t been any decisions made on what will be in or when the update will be ready. If you wanted to join our newsletter, you’ll be up to date on all up coming product releases.
In the meantime, if you have anymore suggestions, just let me know and I’ll get them onto the list for you  .

Again, I was checking out this topic (user groups and restrictions) - I too would like to request this option in the next update of DocBuilder. I am in need of this option right now. Is there anything other then a friendly request on this forum - to make this happen?

Hi Mike.
Thanks for posting!
I am going to add your name to the list of people looking for this feature so the developers can see how much demand there is. Right now, there isn’t an update scheduled for Doc Builder as we are focusing all development resources on a really big upgrade to another program at the moment.
What you could do though, is sign up to our newsletter from the main page which is the best way to keep up to date on what’s happening.
How does that sound? Let me know if you have anymore questions .

This would be a great feature to have and would take the software to the next level. Add my name to the list of people wanting it!
