template not converting for articles Can't Post

our new site template has worked and converted on all our other pages but not our main ACTUAL article pages...

ie:
Category page:
http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/cgi-script/tutorials/publish/cat_index_22.shtml

But if you click on any articles:
http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/cgi-script/tutorials/publish/article_640.shtml

Hey,

This could be caused by a few things. Try these steps:

1) hit the "Publish All" button. You never know, it could work.

2) check the permission and see that the /cgi-script/tutorials/publish/ directory itself and all subdirectories are set to CHMOD 755, and all files in this directory and in subdirectories are set to CHMOD 644. You may even want to try renaming one of the article files (i.e. re-name article_640.shtml to article_640.shtml.blern) on the server, then hitting the "Publish All" button. That will make sure that Article Manager is publishing to that folder correctly.

Give that a try

Hi.

You could also try double checking that your publish directory is set correctly. That is done in Setup Options on Server tab. Article Manager needs to know how to find your publish folder on the server so this field will need to be accurate.

You can use the browse button next to the Publish DIR field to find it. Now, if that doesn't get you going either, perhaps you could send me a support request so I can take a closer look for you:

Either way, I look forward to hearing from you Smile.

Nope that didn't work either... when I clicked on "browse" it was the proper folder and location.

Hi glowinggal,

Thanks for the follow-up!

What you may want to do is fille out a support request with your ftp details, once I have your ftp details I'll be happy to take a closer look at what's happening here. :)

You can fill out a support request here:
