Weird admin.cgi problem when saving or uploading images

Recently, when saving an article or uploading or saving images, AM will freeze after downloading a PDF file named admin.cgi to my desktop. I work on an Mac with OSX. Can't open the file - doesn't look like there's anything in it. And it just keeps doing this until there are 20 or more of these files littering my desktop.
Tried reinstalling Firefox and rebooting my system -- nothing seems to work.
Any ideas what's casuing this? Thanks.
