Publishing Error The program cannot create or write to the file: D:/Inetpub/wwwroot/BuffaloDivision/cgi-bin/artman/publish/mk/creative/artppNew_Web_Banners.shtml Please ask your server administrator to make sure the publish directory and publish file(s) are writable. I looked at my webserver and the creative directory doesn't even exist. Any help? Kev

Hi there. Thanks for posting! The error you are getting there does actually make sense . From the looks of it, Article Manager is trying to publish your articles to a folder in your cgi-bin. Typically, the folder Article Manager publishes to will sit somewhere in your web root instead of the cgi-bin. To get this going all you need to do is log into Article Manager and go to the Server tab in Setup Options. From there, you'll see a field labeled Publish DIR. Next to it will be a browse button. Give that a click and a little window will pop up. You can use the window to browse through the directories on your server. You'll most likely need to hit the Up to higher level directory link about three times to get out of the cgi-bin. Once you find your publish folder, hi the Select this Directory button and that will close the window. The last thing to do is hit the Publish All button down below and you are set. Does that make sense? Give it a shot and let me know how you make out . If you like, I could actually jump in there and take a look at it myself for you. All I would need is a support request: https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support.cgi Either way, I look forward to hearing from you . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
