New to AM. Need help getting started.

I'm pretty good with HTML, but a program like AM isn't my thing. The installation went smoothly and it appears that I can create articles and publish them. My problem, I'm embarassed to say, is that I can't figure out to to see my published articles. Where's my front page? Do I need to create one? After looking through this forum and the support docs I'm still not getting it. Please point me in the right direction. I'm sure I'll be fine once I figure out how to access the published pages. Thanks.

Hi Charp! Which version of Article Manager are you running? With Article Manager 2, there's a "View Website" button on every page -- that'll take you to the default front page. If you're running Article Manager 1, you can still dig this up -- go into Setup Options and choose "Server". You'll see the "Publish URL" -- copy & paste that into an address bar, and it'll take you to Article Manager's front page. :) If you're still having trouble, let us know your website address (you can email us directly if you'd like) and we can help you find it. :) Donna

Donna, Thanks, but I finally found it. I think the problem was that I was using Safari. When I published a test article, nothing appeared in the publish folder. When I switched over to FireFox, it worked like a charm. Are there known issues with Safari? I'm sure I'll be back with other questions...

Hi there, Safari should work fine. The only thing that won't work in Safari is the WYSIWYG editor -- but everything else should be fine! Donna

Speaking of the WYSIWYG editor... I don't see it or any files in the installation that look like the components of such an editor. Was it a separate install? Do I need to activate it? I'm using AM version 1.41 and FF 2.0.0.3.
