Meta dates gone

We recently added the summary coding into the template for our articles so that summaries would appear above the content. We did a republish in order to make this change take effect. The summaries were inserted and everything looks fine in the article page. The problem, however, is that the meta tags for our dates have been removed. The dates still show up in the actual articles, but not in our search engine. When a search is performed now it is just blank after year. Our search uses this for relevancy so this is a obviously a problem. Is there a way a can repopulate the meta date into all these files again. Is it possible to pull the date from where it exists in the article page and insert it into a meta tag automatically. Also, why would the republish remove all the meta tags in the first place?

Hi there Thanks for posting! I am not quite sure what you are trying to setup here so I was wondering if you could send me a support request with FTP details so I can get right onto your server and see what your templates look like: https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support.cgi How does that sound? I look forward to hearing from you . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
