Hi, gp1! Assuming you are working on a Windows machine, you can create this page by simply using Notepad. Open a blank document, and then paste the code you wish to edit onto that document. When you're through editing, go to the File menu, and Save As "index.shtml"... but be sure you select "All Files" instead of "Text Documents (*.txt)" in the Save As Type pull-down box. You can follow these steps to create many kinds of code-based files such as .cgi, .php, .css, .html... and so on.

Hi gp1! Thanks for your post. :) As Silvatti mentioned, you can simply create the file in any text editor, and save it with the filename "index.shtml". Donna
