Internal Server Error Can't Post

hello all,

My article manager was just working fine. One morning I tried to access it to update my stories as normal but now it returns an error .

"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. "

The error also appears on all the cgi scritps namely syndicate.cgi, admin.cgi and search.cgi.

Anybody have any idea?

I have uploaded all this scripts again to the server and change the permision to the right ones 755 but still no luck?

Thanks

Re: [roi] Internal Server Error [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Roi,

I've received an email from you and I'll be looking into what may be the cause of the Internal Server Error first thing Friday morning.

In the mean time, if you're receiving a 500 internal server error it could be (and usually is) because of one of these 2 reasons:

1. The permissions have been incorrectly set. Make sure that Article Manager has chmod 755 permissions on the following files.

- syndicate.cgi
- admin.cgi
- search.cgi

2. The path to Perl is incorrect. The path to Perl is the first line of code in the script.

Make sure the syndicate.cgi, admin.cgi. and search.cgi files have the correct path to Perl. It's usually one of the following:

#!/usr/bin/perl
or
#!/usr/local/bin/perl

Try both of them. :)

If this still doesn't work for you send me a support email and include your FTP information. I can then take a closer look at what may be causing the problem:
