Can Article Manager help me? I have a few questions

I am looking into buying Article Manager(or any of your software that can help me). Basically I want to modify the script to do the following: People can register and have access either as an Entrepreneur or as an Investor. Entrepreneurs can post proposals and read other proposals. Investors can't post proposals but they can read and contact Entrepreneurs. Is your software flexible enough for this kind of operation? A bit like featured on this site: http://www.angelinvestmentnetwork.co.uk/home Many Thanks Serge

Hi, Thanks for the post! You could set-up Article Manager so that only Entrepreneurs can post proposals, each entrepreneur would be given their own user name and password and would only have access to editing their own posts. Each of these posts could have an e-mail me link so that interested investors could e-mail the entrepreneur who posts the idea. :) Does this help Serge? If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask! Cheers, Chet Woodside - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

I have more details from my client... Do you think that most of the stuff can be easily done with Article Manager? (it looks like a look of details but he attached some examples) ---------------- Need to be able to register as on of 2 things. 1. Entrepreneur 2. Investor The entrepreneur will need to post up a proposal, (which will be listed on a page with all other proposals from other entrepreneurs) which the investors can browse through. Maybe even have a proposal search which will allow the investor to type in say oil and then any proposals with the keyword oil will then show up. A proposal will be something along the lines of: Letting and portfolio management "I am also in the process of opening a letting agency as the properties are coming on fast and furious so i am needing to build the foundations to continue expansion. There is no risk involved with this investment as all monies are secured on the property. I will help you build your portfolio and manage it in order to secure your lifestyle. " should you have any questions please call me on 01236738928 or 07784102403 many thanks Derek SOURCE: UK Angel Investment Network Ltd. REGION: Scotland REQUIRED AMOUNT: 30,000 GBP MINIMUM INVESTMENT FROM EACH INVESTOR: 5,000 GBP ESTIMATED ROI: 20% per year INDUSTRY 1: Real Estate INDUSTRY 2: Service-Personal INVESTMENT REASON: Working Capital SUBMITTED: September 12 2006 On the proposals page, I would like it so it shows the first line then for more details u click and link and it gives more details. Eg Proposal Title Industry 1 The Showreel Company Industry 2 Real Estate Investment North Cyprus Region East Anglia Required £ 100,000 -- The entrepreneur will have the options to edit proposal, delete proposal. The investor if he thinks it’s a good proposal can contact the entrepreneur. It is essential that when he presses the contact entrepreneur button it comes though to us then we will contact the entrepreneur on behalf of the investor. When the investor clicks one of these it will then give the full proposal, and also have the option of save proposal (then keeps it stored/saved in the investors saved section (if easily possible) contact entrepreneur (which will send an email to me saying investor x wishes to contact entrepreneur x) and then I can go about contacting the entrepreneur on behalf of the investor. -------- Thanks a lot for your time, Serge

Hi there. Thanks so much for hanging on as I worked on your post here . From the sounds of it, I am actually beginning to think that Listings Manager is going to be a better solution for you here. The reason being is that you are looking to add quite a few different fields for entrepreneurs to fill out and Listings Manager has more room to add those. What Listings Manager is going to do from there is post each proposal you create on an index page with some preview details (all of which you can choose specifically) and a link to see more detail about that proposal. The one thing to keep in mind is that all the proposals are published as static html pages so anyone visiting your site would be able to see them. Only the entrepreneur that created them will be able to make edits though. How does that sound? It would be great to hear from you again so feel free to post up anymore questions you have . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
