Accessing data from one article manager site to another

Hi - I have two sites running article manager. I want to access some of the articles from one site and put them on the other. I thought I might be able to do this using the search.cgi funtion. However, when I insert the code: <!--#include virtual="http://www.[websitename].com/cgi-portfolio/artman/exec/search.cgi?perpage=999999999&cat=20&fields=art_field10&keyword=prolacta&template=search/headlines_news.html" -->, I get an error that says [An error occurred while processing this directive]. Is there a way to access articles from another AM? Thanks, Wendy

Hi Wendy, That's actually nothing to do with Article Manager, that's just a function of Server Side Includes (SSI's). They don't work cross-server, so that's why that method isn't working. You can't enter a full URL into an SSI, only a directory path on the same site. However! Article Manager 1 has a webfeed generator built in to do just this. Go to http://www.[websitename].com/cgi-portfolio/artman/exec/syndicate.cgi and follow the directions there -- you'll be given a bit of JavaScript code that you can put on any other page to syndicate the content there. :) Give that a try and let me know how it goes!
