calendar add addon

Hello I am looking for a calendar add-on for AM. Looking at back posts there are several posts showcasing small calendars for date input. There typically consists of a small grid representing a month, clicking on a day will feed that date into a fixed action, say take to all the articles for that day or perform some other navigation function. But this is not what I'm looking for. What I would like to do is tag articles as "scheduled events" using one of the optional fields. Then have a link to "Scheduled Events". This will be a link to a full page calendar of the current month. Each day is a box that has a link for each event on that day. The top of the page should have navigation to past and future months. Really this could be thought of as a index/search page displayed in a special format. Has anything like this been done? If so is it available? If not do you have any suggestions on how to proceed. Also wouldn't this be a great new feature? With what seems like very little work you could add event calendaring to you product.

Hi beeko, Thanks for the forum post . I can see how a scheduled events page or feature would be useful, and I think with JavaScript or server-side script programming you may be able to do this, although since I'm not a web programming guru I don't think I can actually write the code myself. I don't think I've known anyone who has tried this either. However, I do know that there's a lot of bright and multi-talented people in the itools forum community, so if anyone can help, please do so .
