Yet another AM & RSS question... Can't Post

I have the publishcron.ini file all set up.

I have the rss.xml file all set up.

I went over to Bloglines to do a test run and it's only pulling in 10 articles from AM when there are 93 articles to pull in.

Here's what's in my publishcron.ini file:

page1 = //home/soloentr/public_html/rss.xml
query1 = &template=index/rss.xml&perpage=93&cat=13

I've saved the edited publishcron.ini, FTP'd it and then republished in AM to no avail.

So, I go over to rss.xml and take a look and it only has 10 articles as well. It seems like AM is not updating rss.xml for some reason - even though I've republished (albeit without adding a new article).

Can anyone help? Thanks!

The Webchhk

Hi Webchhk,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

It seems like your search query is correct, but the first thing that I would check is the query to the search engine.

Do you get 93 results when you pass that query through the search?

So try something like this and see how many results you get:
www.yoursite.com/cgi-bin/artman/exec/search.cgi?&template=index/rss.xml&perpage=93&cat=13

Thanks for the help...

This kinda helped and then kinda didn't.

I replaced searchurl = with the string you gave (subbing in my domain), FTP'd the pubcron file and republished AM. Then headed over to bloglines to see if all articles would come through. Nada.

Then, instead of using the subscribe string that I normally use for RSS (path to my rss.xml file), I subbed in the string you gave me as the subscription feed and it brought in 43 articles not the 96 that come up in category 13 when doing a search in Article Manager. (yes, we're up to 96 articles from 93).

I don't know what to do now. If I call during the day can someone help me?

Thanks!
