Will we ever get an expiration feature?

We've been using Article Manager for almost 3 years, and love it. But the need to manually delete articles is a real pain. We've asked for an article expiration feature now since we started using it, and always hear "it's on the list". Any word on whether we'll ever actually see it? Thanks

I've been developing this feature for the last couple of months and 'should' finally be completely done this weekend. Features included are postdating (won't show up till the date and time you want), and expiration (you would set this article to expire in X days from the time its posted). Upon expiration, it expires to a hidden category ( I prefer to call it EXPIRE). That way its off your website but you still have the article since alot of people prefer to archive all articles ever created. It is a special build by request for 1.41, although I'll offer it to everyone. I normally just send an email out to all past clients to announce new scripts or updated ones. Since its such a widely requested script I may put a post on the add-ons script. The only part left as of today is the expiration to category. All the other features are done. The time frame should be just a couple days. Regards, Michael NEW!Logo and Website Design Auto Post Date and Expiration GoForum 2.02 http://www.amscripts.net SKYPE - michael.amscripts

Hi John, Thanks for the post! It sounds like Michael has a great script that he's working on for the current version of Article Manager that should do what you're hoping for. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions or comments, just let me know! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
