How to get AM to use search_results.php?

Hi, I'd like the "search_results.php" template to show the search results. But when I add a hidden field (<input type="hidden" name="template" value="search_results.php">) to the template "advanced_search.html", and perform a search, then AM replies that "search_results.php" is not a registered file. I'd like to keep the ".html" extension for article files. Has anyone got a solution for this? Thanks in advance!! Ivar Johansson Stockholm, Sweden

Hi Ivar, Thanks for the post! If you'd like to have your Advanced Search page use a specific template for it's results page then you'll actually just want to modify the hidden input field you're using. Article Manager actually starts looking for it's search results template from the /templates/ folder so your hidden field should actually look like this: <input type="hidden" name="template" value="search/search_results.php"> This is assuming that the file you'd like to use is in the /artman/templates/search/ directory. If you'd prefer to not change this hidden field you could just get onto your server and move search_results.php into the /templates/ folder. Give this a try and let me know how it works for you. If you have any other questions or comments, just let me know! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
