Hi I use WebAdverts, although it is a bit old now it still works really well, and is only $50 shareware. It integrates with all my Artman pages as well as all my other pages. It can be displayed via JavaScript, IFRAME, IMG or SSI tags (Banners may also easily be included on CGI-generated pages.) Multiple "zones" can be established, allowing certain banners to appear only on certain pages. WebAdverts keeps track of exposures and click-thrus for each banner, as well as of the average total number of exposures per day. Individual passwords allow each of your advertisers to view their own advert stats (overall and daily) without viewing anyone else's. Banners can be "weighted" to control how often they are displayed, and can automatically be expired from the rotation after a designated number of exposures, click-thrus or days. Hope this helps

Which version of phpAdsNew are you using? Are you using it with a virtual domain? My particular problems could just be because of my environment, but in my opinion, their support sucks, they ignore bug reports and their lists is full of people who ask questions about problems and nobody gives any answers. I have tried for 3 days to get their latest release to work here and its just about to hit the bit bucket. T. We use Adcycle, cheap and powerfull - www.adcycle.com I also use adcycle, and feel it is one of the best option around. I use the Daemon option to help speed up adverts, and it made a huge difference over webadverts (which I used to use). I have tried IMG tags, as well as JavaScript in my whole site and no complaints. __________________________________________________ Thank You... I agree. PhpAdNew is one of the best out there. The latest FREE version takes full advantage of php 4.30.

I have to agree that adcycle is the only good alternative out there for the money. Webadverts is very cheap but is slow and unreliable. The only advantage that it offers is the banner exchange options. For straight ad serving and heavy stat reporting go with adcycle.

Has anybody had any experience with advertise with pleasure at guruperl.com. I really like the option of letting advertisers click on an ad spot and upload their own ads, along with payment processing, wait list etc. The business end seems good but I am not clear on the rest of the system. Thanks, Brendan Corcoran

Here is a good banner program that I found. Very simple and does what I needed. Clients can log in and manage there own banners. Price is right also only $49.00. Very simple setup. It has turned 417,745 banner views since I installed it on the 10th of October without a hitch. http://www.scriptdemo.com/details.php?prod=phpbm

It does look simple thanks. I just can't tell if it has the following features; auto notify of clients when ads are due to expire, waiting list for filled ad spaces. Being that this is the article manager forum I was wondering if people using ad servers are going to face the same dilema I am. Each category we have will be a local town and we will have 10 ad spaces on that page for local and/or regional advertisers, I want them to either be static ads or preferebly rotate between each other's slots on that page. Ex 10 advertisers in town A 10 ad spots, their ad is viewed everytime the town's category is called up but the posisition on the page changes. The logistics of this in some of these servers seem tough, I am wondering if any has ideas. I would like to be able to generate code for one zone, place in the ten ad spots, have 10 banners in the zone that each would go to a different spot when the page is viewed. I don't know if this makes sense, but any more insight with the above scripts and others would be quite helpful. Thanks, Brendan Corcoran

My suggestion would be to write this company and ask them. They are pretty quick about answering questions and I found them very easy to work with. Much like Interactive tools.

I would have to concur that phpadsnew is the best program out there. I currently use it on my site and haven't had any problems with it at all. Best part...it's free! Bryan Gilchrist

We've used PHPADSNEW as well. It doesn't get any easier or more sophisticated. Highly recommended.
