I recieved several newsletters which in turn publish as articles... to do this, I have to copy and paste each newletter, recieved via email, into individual articles... very time consuming. Would... could... there be a way to automate this...??

I have a similar need. I take webpage and email content and forward it to my group with various category names in the subject line - [market stats], [home networking], etc. MS Outlook rules are used to filter on these categories and in turn files the email in respective folders. This is how I archive the various pieces of competitive information that I send out on a daily basis. I'd like to move the entire system to AM, but I don't want the extra work of cutting and pasting. any ideas?

Hi Noza, Thanks for your post. The problem is converting the newsletter into Article Manager-comprehensible format, and then writing a script to automatically enter those values through the interface. I had a word with a programmer, and he seems to think that all data would have to be inputted through the interface... So yes it's possible, but it's certainly a custom job. Ben interactivetools.com

Is this not the same request as in post 9074?? This functionality would be very useful - if enough people are asking for it, can we either share the cost of the custom mod, or persuade the developers that it is really very marketable

Hi Jon, Yes, there certainly appears to be a demand for this feature... Though I haven't heard of any immediate plans to incorporate this functionality into Article Manager. I'm not sure though how large of a custom programming job this would be (programming hours involved, total cost, etc), but if you are interested in discussing anything like that then you can e-mail Theo Wiersma (theo@interactivetoos.com).
